2. Refund & Payment Policy

Booking & Payment

  • Full payment is required at the time of booking confirmation to secure staffing or care resources.

  • Accepted payment methods include secure online transactions and authorized institutional invoicing.

Cancellations:

  • Clients who cancel services within 12 hours of the scheduled start will forfeit 50% of the service fee to cover staff scheduling and administrative costs.

  • Cancellations made more than 12 hours in advance receive a full refund or may option for rescheduling at no additional charge.

Refund Guarantee:

If AtlanticCare cannot fulfill a confirmed booking due to unforeseen circumstances, we will immediately offer either a full refund or a rescheduled service with a qualified replacement resource — ensuring minimal disruption to your care.

Refund Processing:

  • Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 24 hours of approval.

  • Clients will receive an electronic confirmation upon refund completion.

3. Standard of Care & Best Practice

AtlanticCare Staffing Solutions Inc. is guided by Canadian healthcare quality standards and rights-based care principles.
We align our service delivery with the expectations of Nova Scotia Health (NSH), the Department of Community Services (DCS), and Health Association Nova Scotia (HANS).

  • Qualified & Vetted Professionals: All nurses, Continuing Care Assistants (CCAs), and caregivers are certified, background-checked, and trained.

  • Quality Assurance: Routine audits, supervision, and client feedback ensure continuous improvement.

4. Compliance, Privacy & Data Protection

5. Insurance & Risk Management

AtlanticCare Staffing Solutions Inc. recognizes the importance of comprehensive insurance coverage to protect our clients, staff, and partners. The organization will obtain and maintain Commercial General Liability ($5 million), Professional Liability ($2 million), and Workers’ Compensation (WCB Nova Scotia) coverage prior to initiating client service delivery or entering any formal government contract.
